Evergreen & SweetGrass Located in Flowers Plantation, in Johnston County, are two age-restricted neighborhoods.  Homes in these neighborhoods are detached, accessible single-family homes with two to three bedrooms and include an attached two-car garage.

Evergreen will feature 130 single-family homes from three different builders.  There will be a variety of home styles to meet every taste and ranging from 1700 to 2300 square feet.  Prices range from the high $200s to the mid $300s.  HOA fees are $205 monthly and $150 annually.

Sweetgrass has 19 single-family patio homes built by Kirkwood builders.  The homes range in size from 1800 to 2200 square feet.  Prices range from the high $200s to the high $300s.  HOA dues are $250 per month and $160 annually.

Flowers Plantation is a large community with a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse including tennis, basketball, trails, indoor and outdoor pools, and a fitness center.

 

The Walk at East Village is a new home community with 300 homes planned, just a short walk from downtown Clayton. The community consists of pocket neighborhoods, where homes face each other separated by sidewalks and open green spaces, not streets.  Garages are located facing the street at the rear of the homes.  Homebuyers can choose from eight-floor plans ranging from 1300 to 3000 square feet, with two to four bedrooms, and are priced from the mid $200s to the low $500s.

The neighborhood has a huge clubhouse that hosts a variety of activities and includes a pool, fitness center, gathering spaces, and more.  Homeowners can enjoy outdoor amenities including walking and biking trails, community gardens, a dog park, a pickleball court, and bocce ball.
